Incogni Unveiled: An Honest User Review on Data Privacy

For a few years now, we have all learned to take care of our privacy.

A few months ago, bored by other targeted ads around the web, I stumbled upon Incogni purely by chance. I want to clarify that this is not sponsored content; I am a user who, like probably many of you, pays for their subscription to Incogni. Specifically, to try it out, I chose not to opt directly for the annual subscription but to keep it active for a few months to see how it goes. I will talk about the subscription plans later in the article, stay tuned!

Ok, let’s see how Incogni works.

Among the data that can be entered on Incogni, we find the name, surname, date of birth, three email addresses, and three home addresses.

Personal Information asked by Incogni to provide the service

Incogni provides a “Dashboard” where you can monitor the status of the requests sent, those in progress, and those completed. Additionally, there is an estimate of the time saved by using this service instead of manually sending requests to each data broker. How this estimate is calculated is not shown. You can also see how many brokers in total have added you to their Suppression List and, finally, an activity log…
